I’m sure many of you are already aware that Didier Ludot has collaborated with Petit Bateau on a capsule collection of little black dresses and I have to say I’m incredibly excited, if not giddy (and really impatient) at the prospect of getting my hands on one, if not two or three of these effortless chic, timeless, yet modern (I know, what an oxymoron) dresses that exemplify perfectly both Ludot’s mastering of the LBD and Petit Bateau’s signature traits, usually seen with their T-shirt collection: comfortable, classic and affordable.
Fashionista or not, the little black dress is a must-have item, a staple in your wardrobe. Whether you’re petite, slender or curvy, one of these dresses will fit you like a glove. Perfect for day or/to night looks, usually flattering and always effortless, it’s at the number one spot on my list of incontournables, my go-to items, regardless of the season.
I’m not one to usually push to consumption, but I
highly recommend order you to get your hands on this collection inspired by the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Twiggy and Catherine Deneuve. Beautiful and affordable, need I say more?
Mark your calendars, the collection will be available on Petit Bateau’s online shop and at the Champs Elysées flagship starting November 30th and in the remaining shops as of December 5th. (Dresses go from 55€ to 145€)
So, are you tempted by this collaboration?
